I installed this myself and it fits right in wall between the framing – I did install mine vertically not horizontal as shown. It was very simple.

I love this light – I installed it in my shower were the shelf is and it’s a nice addition to the otherwise plain tile I picked (white 3×6 tile). It came package VERY well and was somewhat simple for the contractor to install. It has a remote to change colors and brightness. We also use it as a nightlight if we get up in the middle of the night.
